Our identity

nimble bubble is a EdTech startup that teaches team members how to give feedback that propels humans and objectives in the organization.

Its mission is to implement a communication style that supports the feeling of autonomy, belonging and competence in work teams. We want to contribute to the development of optimal work environments for all.

Our commitment

nimble bubble positively modifies working relationships to allow as many people as possible to evolve in an environment that encourages their development. Our main commitment is to create this safe and optimal bubble for team members to develop and thrive.

We find our meaning by equipping leaders in this direction. Our mission is carried out through the lens of the most scientifically recognized science of human motivation in the world; self-determination theory.

nimble bubble is thus a collision between the love of the science of motivation, human and organizational development and technology.

Meaning is the first nonnegotiable characteristic of nimble bubble.

Our name 🫧

nimble bubble came to life after all the reflections we had on the caring bubbles we wanted to create to change the business ecosystem for the better. When employees feel good and perform at their best, are happy and engaged, it sometimes feels as if they were evolving in some sort of a protected and safe bubble that cannot be seen.

Bubbles are a visual representation of optimal working environments, in which a person 1) feels recognized and appreciated, 2) where they have the opportunity to contribute to their organization's mission, 3) knows the clear expectations related to her role and 4) where her development is encouraged at work.

Development is the second nonnegotiable characteristic of nimble bubble.

Our logo

nimble means agile, resourceful and sensitive. These adjectives represent the characteristics nimble leaders have. In our logo, you’ll find the letter n (by following the coral color starting at the bottom of the logo) within the letter b.

Coral is the Pantone color of 2019, the foundation year of this community. It is a perfect visual identity for nimble bubble as it is a nurturing color at the same time as being a symbol of joy.  “With consumers craving human interaction and social connection, the humanizing and heartening qualities displayed by the convivial Pantone Living Coral hit a responsive chord”, Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.

Sensitive is the third nonnegotiable characteristic of nimble bubble

Sophie Gadoury,M.Sc.

Founder

  • Volleyball was her first passion; she is a former player and coach and was responsible for coaching development at the national level with Volleyball Canada. Her childhood dream of representing her country at the Olympics has guided her throughout her story.

Sophie was particularly interested in the optimal conditions of the hierarchical coach-athlete relationship in the performance psychology option during her graduate studies (University of Montreal).

During her four years at the Canadian Olympic Committee, Sophie had the opportunity to support the Canadian teams in optimizing their well-being and performance at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil.

Her childhood dream now achieved, she co-founded reROOT, a collective of researchers, lecturers, psychologists, and practitioners whose mission is to improve the quality of hierarchical relationships at work and in sport.
She then created and developed with M. Robert Dutton the Parcours Leadership Carabins, a unique and complementary learning program focused on leadership for student-athletes from the Université de Montréal.

At Connect&GO, a tech company in Montreal, she challenged herself to support well-being and performance in the world of work this time. She was able to play an important role there as the first Human Resources Director.

She also created workshops in partnership with the Ordre des conseillers en ressource humaine agréés (CRHA).

Eventually, Sophie opened the nimble bubble Feedback Training Center with a clear mission: Making feedback a continuous and positive exchange in the workplace, as is the case in sports.

Geneviève Rousseau

Coach & GenAI Specialist

  • A team sports enthusiast, Geneviève has excelled in flag football and broomball as both a player and coach, leading her team to national levels. As a "digital nomad" and outdoor adventure lover, she has also dedicated over 15 years to the scouting movement, developing notable leadership skills. She has recently directed her energy towards artificial intelligence technologies, like ChatGPT, fostering a culture of learning and innovation, and becoming a pioneer in training teams on these technologies.

Graduating from HEC Montréal in 2015, Geneviève distinguished herself with an outstanding academic record, earning more than a dozen scholarships and winning the prestigious CEO x 1 Day competition, showcasing her leadership and communication skills. In 2016, she won the emerging entrepreneurs contest with her first startup, proving her innovative spirit.

Geneviève's successful experience at C2 Montréal, where she led an international team of facilitators for a major event in Switzerland (2018), sparked a deep interest in facilitation and learning experience design. Following this passion, she further honed her facilitation skills by taking advanced improvisation classes.

Since 2020, as VP of Culture & People’s growth at designstripe, Geneviève has developed a feedback and well-being culture, contributing to the achievement of the BCorp certification. Integrating a feedback culture into her international team (spanning over a dozen countries) has been one of the greatest challenges of her career.
